Dawson is a Senpai (assistant instructor) in American Kenpo where he currently holds a blue belt.

Dawson is also training in CTAC (Civilian Tactical Training Association)

Dawson and his high-school sweetheart/wife Bailey believe that it is important to be well rounded when it comes to self defense. They both share the same passion of teaching others self-defense, with their shared vision Primed Defender and Mrs. Primed Defender were brought to life. The two businesses compliment and assist each other well. Together, they offer training from standing hand-to-hand combat, on the ground self-defense, and firearms training revolving around performing at a high level under pressure.
